To whom it may concern:
I recently sent a letter of grievance to Ticketmaster regarding the November 15th Chemical Bros. performance at the Hammerstein Ballroom. Since I felt that the situation was in part caused, or at least not remedied, by the staff of the Manhattan Center, I thought I might send you a carbon-copy.
In the future, I would suggest that the Manhattan Center make very clear to Ticketmaster distinctions regarding seating, such as the one I describe in the letter. I would also suggest that Manhattan Center open future techno events as general admission. People should be allowed access to the both the dance floor and the balcony; the balcony would provide a suitable chill-out area. I also would like to see some means of remedying problems of this nature onsite. Being told, "Call Ticketmaster" at eleven o’clock at night is pretty synonymous with "Fuck you."
It is uncertain whether I will be returning to the Manhattan Center in the future. It will most certainly depend on the outcome of the situation with Ticketmaster. But there is no doubt that, unless I learn otherwise, I must be wary when attending a show at Manhattan Center.
